- White miso paste: 2 tbsp
- Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
- Chili crisp or chili oil: 1 tbsp
- Honey or maple syrup: 1 tbsp
- Rice vinegar: 1 tbsp
- Toasted sesame oil: 1 tsp
- Garlic: 1 clove, finely grated
- Fresh ginger: 1 tsp, finely grated
- Green onions: 2 tbsp, chopped, for garnish
- Toasted sesame seeds: 1 tbsp, for garnish
- Nori flakes (optional): 1 tsp, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare oven and tray:
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook pasta:
- Boil pasta in salted water until just al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
- Make glaze:
- Whisk miso paste, soy sauce, chili crisp, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger together until smooth.
- Toss pasta:
- Add drained pasta to bowl, toss to coat evenly with glaze.
- Bake:
- Spread coated pasta on baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Add garnishes:
- Remove from oven, sprinkle warm bites with green onions, sesame seeds, and nori flakes if using.
- Serve:
