Common Recipe Questions

What type of mushrooms work best?

Large cremini or white mushrooms are ideal for stuffing due to their size and firm texture.

Can I prepare the filling in advance?

Yes, the filling can be mixed ahead and refrigerated for a few hours to enhance flavor melding.

How do I achieve a crispy topping?

A combination of panko breadcrumbs and grated parmesan sprinkled on top before air frying gives a golden, crunchy finish.

Is air frying necessary?

Air frying cooks the mushrooms evenly and crisps the topping quickly, but oven baking at 180°C for about 15 minutes is a good alternative.

Can I add meat to the filling?
