Festive Peppermint Espresso Cocktail (Print Version)

A creamy blend of espresso, vodka, and peppermint with a chocolate rim for festive occasions.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Martini Base

01 - 4 fl oz vodka (plain or vanilla, gluten-free if needed)
02 - 2 fl oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlua)
03 - 3 fl oz fresh brewed espresso, cooled (or strong cold brew coffee)
04 - 2 fl oz half & half (or dairy-free peppermint mocha creamer such as Nutpods or Califia Farms)
05 - 1/4 tsp peppermint extract

→ Chocolate Peppermint Rim and Garnish

06 - Chocolate syrup (amount sufficient for rimming glasses)
07 - 2 tbsp crushed candy canes
08 - 6 espresso beans (for garnish)

# How to Make It:

01 - Pour chocolate syrup onto a small plate. Dip rims of two martini glasses into the syrup, then coat rims with crushed candy canes. Set aside.
02 - Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
03 - Add vodka, coffee liqueur, cooled espresso, half & half (or dairy-free creamer), and peppermint extract to the shaker.
04 - Shake vigorously for 60 seconds until well chilled and frothy.
05 - Strain the mixture evenly into the prepared martini glasses.
06 - Garnish each drink with three espresso beans and serve immediately.
