Zombie Brain Gelatin Shots (Print Version)

Vivid gelatin layers, creamy centers, and cherry brains make these shots perfect for lively Halloween gatherings.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Gelatin Layer

01 - 3 ounces lime-flavored gelatin powder
02 - 1 cup boiling water
03 - 1/2 cup cold water
04 - 1/2 cup vodka

→ "Brain" Filling

05 - 12 maraschino cherries, stems removed
06 - 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur

→ Topping

07 - 2 tablespoons grenadine syrup

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine lime-flavored gelatin powder with boiling water and stir with a whisk until fully dissolved, approximately 2 minutes.
02 - Add cold water and vodka to the dissolved gelatin. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
03 - Carefully pour the gelatin mixture into 12 shot glasses or small cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
04 - Place the glasses in the refrigerator and chill for 45 to 60 minutes, until the gelatin is slightly tacky but not fully firm.
05 - Gently press one maraschino cherry into the center of each partially set gelatin shot, allowing it to sink slightly.
06 - Drizzle about 1 teaspoon Irish cream liqueur over each cherry to create a 'cloudy' effect within the gelatin.
07 - Return the tray to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the gelatin is completely set.
08 - Just before serving, add several drops of grenadine syrup on each shot for a red 'bloody' presentation.
