Texas Roadhouse Baked Salmon (Print Version)

Juicy salmon fillets baked in savory spices, finished with butter, lemon, and fresh parsley.

# Ingredients:

→ Fish

01 - 4 salmon fillets (approximately 170 g each), skin on or off as preferred

→ Spice Rub

02 - 1.5 teaspoons paprika
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
06 - 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley
07 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
09 - 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Finish

11 - 1 lemon, cut into wedges
12 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
13 - 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly oil the surface.
02 - In a small bowl, blend together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried parsley, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper if using.
03 - Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Evenly brush both sides with olive oil.
04 - Sprinkle spice rub over both sides of the fillets, pressing gently so seasonings adhere.
05 - Place seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if applicable.
06 - Bake in preheated oven for 14 to 18 minutes, or until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Adjust time for thicker fillets as needed.
07 - Remove from oven. Immediately brush each fillet with melted butter and squeeze lemon juice over the top.
08 - Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired and serve with remaining lemon wedges.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For deeper flavor, marinate the salmon with the spice rub for 15 to 30 minutes before baking.
02 - Smoked paprika can be added for a subtle smoky note.
03 - Leftover salmon can be flaked and used in salads or wraps.
04 - Serve alongside steamed vegetables, baked potatoes, or a fresh green salad for a balanced meal.
