Strawberry Chia Oats Granola (Print Version)

Creamy oats combined with fresh strawberries, chia seeds, and crunchy granola for a nutritious start.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Oats Base

01 - 1 cup rolled oats
02 - 1 cup milk, dairy or plant-based
03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
04 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds
05 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Fruit

07 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

→ Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup granola
09 - Additional strawberries, sliced, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
02 - Gently fold in the sliced strawberries to distribute evenly throughout the mixture.
03 - Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 8 hours to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and achieve a creamy consistency.
04 - In the morning, stir the overnight oats thoroughly. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach desired consistency.
05 - Divide the overnight oats evenly between two bowls or jars.
06 - Top each serving with granola and additional sliced strawberries if desired. Serve immediately.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Zero morning stress because your breakfast assembles itself while you sleep.
  • The strawberries soften into the oats just enough to taste like a secret ingredient rather than fruit on top.
  • One bowl feels indulgent but your body actually thanks you for the protein and fiber.
  • It tastes different every morning depending on your mood and what you add.
02 -
  • Add granola at the very end—even five minutes of contact with the creamy oats starts to soften it, and you'll lose the whole reason to include it.
  • The mixture will thicken as it sits overnight because the chia seeds keep absorbing liquid, so don't panic if it looks too loose before you refrigerate it.
03 -
  • Use full-fat yogurt if you can—it creates a silkier texture that plant-based yogurts sometimes struggle to match, though the right brand makes all the difference.
  • Toast your granola lightly before serving if it's been sitting for days and lost a bit of crunch, or just accept that some mornings are softer than others.
