Spicy Pineapple Margarita Cocktail (Print Version)

Pineapple, jalapeño, and lime meld in this lively Mexican-inspired cocktail, bright and perfect for summer occasions.

# Ingredients:

→ Cocktail

01 - 240 g fresh pineapple chunks or 120 ml pineapple juice
02 - 60 ml silver tequila
03 - 30 ml triple sec or orange liqueur
04 - 30 ml fresh lime juice
05 - 30 ml agave syrup or simple syrup
06 - 2–4 fresh jalapeño slices, to taste
07 - Ice cubes

→ Garnish & Rim

08 - 15 g chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajín) or coarse sea salt
09 - 1 lime wedge
10 - Pineapple wedges and/or jalapeño slices, optional, for garnish

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Rub a lime wedge along the rim of two rocks glasses, then dip the rims into chili-lime seasoning or coarse sea salt to coat. Set aside.
02 - In a cocktail shaker, firmly muddle the pineapple chunks with jalapeño slices until the mixture is juicy and aromatic.
03 - Add silver tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and a generous handful of ice cubes to the shaker.
04 - Shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until thoroughly chilled.
05 - Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with fresh ice.
06 - Garnish each glass with pineapple wedges and/or jalapeño slices as desired. Serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Adjust the quantity of jalapeño for your preferred level of heat.
02 - For a smoother drink, substitute pineapple juice for muddled pineapple.
