01 -  Gently spread ricotta cheese evenly in a small ovenproof dish. 
 02 -  Arrange sliced fresh figs over the ricotta, then lightly drizzle with honey. Sprinkle black pepper and salt to taste. 
 03 -  Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes, or until the surface is lightly golden and bubbling.
