Roasted Cauliflower Steaks (Print Version)

Thick cauliflower slices roasted golden with Mediterranean spices - a hearty, elegant plant-based main or flavorful side dish.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 large head of cauliflower
02 - 3 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
05 - 1/2 tsp ground cumin
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste
07 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, keeping the core intact.
03 - Slice the cauliflower into 3/4-inch thick steaks. You'll get about 2–3 full steaks; the rest will break into florets — roast those too!
04 - Place the cauliflower steaks and florets onto the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Brush both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
06 - Roast for 15–20 minutes, flip carefully, and roast for another 10–15 minutes until tender and golden brown.
07 - Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
