Mushroom Swiss Garlic Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 4 slices rye bread
02 - 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
03 - 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 1 clove garlic, minced

# How to Make It:

01 - Sauté mushrooms in a skillet over medium heat until browned and tender.
02 - Combine minced garlic with softened butter in a small bowl until thoroughly blended.
03 - Spread the garlic butter evenly over one side of each slice of rye bread.
04 - Place half of the shredded Swiss cheese and half of the sautéed mushrooms onto two bread slices, buttered side down, then top with the remaining cheese and bread.
05 - Heat the skillet to medium. Place sandwiches in skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
06 - Remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.
