04 - 120 grams all-purpose flour
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Coating

08 - 1 cup breadcrumbs

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, fully combine mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, eggs, flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
03 - Portion and shape the mixture into 12 evenly sized balls using your hands or a small scoop.
04 - Roll each potato ball in breadcrumbs to coat completely and evenly.
05 - Place coated puffs onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each to prevent sticking.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the puffs are golden brown and crisp on the outside.
07 - Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm. Serve with your preferred dipping sauce if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For enhanced flavor, add finely chopped chives, parsley, or cooked bacon to the mixture.
02 - You may substitute cheddar cheese with mozzarella, gouda, or a cheese blend.
03 - Using panko breadcrumbs results in an even crispier exterior.
04 - Mashed potato cheese puffs are best enjoyed fresh, but can be reheated in the oven if needed.
