Spread lemon pie filling evenly across the bottom of a greased 33x23 cm baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, blend yellow cake mix with melted butter and water until just combined. Pour over lemon pie filling, spreading gently.

Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until the surface is golden and a toothpick inserted into the cake portion comes out clean.
