Juicy Grilled Burgers (Print Version)

Flame-grilled beef patties seasoned to perfection that stay juicy and flavorful - the ultimate backyard barbecue classic.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Burger Patties

01 - 1 1/2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 1 tsp salt
03 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1/2 tsp onion powder

→ Assembly

06 - 4 burger buns
07 - Sliced cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, red onion, ketchup, mustard, mayo (for topping)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Do not overwork the meat. Divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties about 3/4-inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help them cook evenly without puffing up.
02 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 200°C). Oil the grates lightly. Grill burgers for 4-5 minutes on the first side without pressing down. Flip and grill another 3-5 minutes, until they reach your desired doneness: 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, 145°F (63°C) for medium, 160°F (71°C) for well done. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking, if desired.
03 - Place buns cut-side down on the grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
04 - Build burgers with your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
