Garlic Butter Chicken Bites (Print Version)

Tender chicken cubes seared and tossed in garlicky butter-lemon sauce, ready in 20 minutes.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 500 g (1.1 lbs) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 2 cm (¾-inch) cubes
02 - ½ tsp salt
03 - ¼ tsp black pepper
04 - ½ tsp paprika (optional)

→ Garlic Butter Sauce

05 - 2 tbsp light butter or reduced-fat butter
06 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
07 - 1 tbsp olive oil
08 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus more for garnish)
09 - ½ lemon, juiced

# How to Make It:

01 - Pat the chicken cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
02 - Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp of the light butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
03 - Add the chicken cubes in a single layer. Cook for 3–4 minutes without moving, until golden brown.
04 - Flip the chicken and add the minced garlic. Cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until the chicken is cooked through and garlic is fragrant.
05 - Add the remaining 1 tbsp light butter and lemon juice. Stir to coat the chicken evenly.
06 - Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It's ridiculously fast but tastes like you took your sweet time—your secret’s safe with me.
  • The garlic butter sauce makes every bite feel a little more special, even if you're just eating in pajamas.
02 -
  • If the pan is overcrowded, the chicken steams instead of browns—work in batches if needed—I learned the hard way with a pale, soggy first attempt.
  • Adding the garlic too soon burns it fast; toss it in only after you've flipped the chicken for that toasty, mellow flavor.
03 -
  • The chicken stays juiciest if you let it rest for a minute off the heat before serving—just enough time to gather everyone to the table.
  • A splash of good quality olive oil at the end adds a silky finish to the sauce—it's a small but game-changing touch.
