01 - Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a 23 cm tart pan with baking paper if desired.
02 - Roll out the ready-made pastry and gently fit it into the tart pan. Trim any overhanging edges.
03 - Layer the apple slices in concentric circles over the pastry base.
04 - Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apples.
05 - Dot the apples with the cubes of unsalted butter.
06 - Bake for 35 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the pastry is golden brown.
07 - Let the tart cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
