Cottage Cheese Flatbread (Print Version)

Soft flatbread with cottage cheese, perfect for wraps, dips, or snacks. Quick, easy, and vegetarian.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup cottage cheese

→ Dry Ingredients

02 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt

→ Optional

05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive dough forms.
02 - Add olive oil for extra moisture if desired and knead gently until the dough becomes smooth.
03 - Section the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each into a ball.
04 - Roll each dough ball into a disc approximately 0.6 centimetres thick using a rolling pin.
05 - Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook each flatbread for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown on both sides.
06 - Remove flatbreads from the skillet and allow to cool slightly before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For added flavour, incorporate chopped fresh herbs such as chives or parsley into the dough.
02 - Delicious when served with hummus, tzatziki, or used as a wrap for savoury fillings.
