# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It comes together in under 10 minutes of hands on work, leaving you free to actually enjoy the game or the gathering.
  • The balance of heat and creaminess makes it dangerously addictive without being overpowering.
  • You can make it ahead and bake it right before guests arrive, so it hits the table piping hot and bubbly.
  • Leftovers reheat beautifully and taste even better the next day when the flavors have melded.
02 -
  • If your cream cheese is not fully softened, you will end up with lumps that never blend out, so plan ahead and leave it on the counter.
  • Do not skip the resting time after baking, or the dip will be too liquidy and slide off your chip in a sad puddle.
  • Taste your buffalo sauce before adding it all, some brands are significantly hotter than others and you can always add more but you cannot take it back.
03 -
  • Use a shallow wide baking dish instead of a deep one for maximum surface area and more of that coveted golden cheesy crust.
  • Add a tablespoon of the leftover buffalo sauce on top before baking for extra glossy heat that looks as good as it tastes.
  • If you are serving a crowd, double the recipe and bake it in a 9 by 13 inch dish, adding 5 to 10 minutes to the baking time.
