Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant and golden, taking care not to let it burn.

Add thawed shrimp and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through, about 3–4 minutes.

Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated. Finish with a sprinkle of chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
