Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve some cooking water and drain well.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1–2 minutes.

Add thawed shrimp and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook, stirring, until shrimp are opaque and pink, about 3–4 minutes.

Add drained spaghetti and several tablespoons of reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss with shrimp and aromatics until well combined. Remove from heat and fold in chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
