11 - 110 grams brown sugar, packed
12 - 50 grams granulated sugar
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
14 - 125 grams all-purpose flour
15 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
16 - 85 grams chocolate chips

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together unsweetened cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar until smooth.
04 - Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
05 - Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop mounds of brownie batter onto prepared trays, leaving 5 cm between each.
06 - Bake for 15–20 minutes, until edges are set and centers remain slightly soft. Let cool for 10 minutes on trays before transferring to wire racks to cool fully.
07 - In a clean bowl, cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light. Mix in vanilla extract, then gradually add flour and salt. Stir through chocolate chips.
08 - Once brownie cookies are completely cool, spread a generous layer of cookie dough filling on the flat side of one. Place a second cookie on top and press gently to sandwich.
09 - Repeat the process until all cookies are paired and filled.
10 - For a firmer texture, refrigerate assembled sandwich cookies for 30 minutes before serving.
11 - Enjoy these rich sandwich cookies as a decadent treat.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For enhanced flavor, consider mixing chopped nuts or using a variety of chocolate chips in the batter.
