Blueberry Mint Lemonade Drink (Print Version)

A bright blend of blueberry, mint, and lemon delivers a refreshing sip for summer or anytime cool-downs.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Fruit & Herbs

01 - 150 grams fresh blueberries, plus extra for garnish
02 - 20 grams fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
03 - 240 millilitres freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 to 5 lemons)

→ Sweetener & Base

04 - 100 grams granulated sugar (or adjust to taste; may substitute with honey or agave syrup)
05 - 950 millilitres cold water
06 - 130 grams ice cubes

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine blueberries, sugar, and 120 millilitres of water in a small saucepan. Warm over medium heat while stirring occasionally until the berries burst and sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
02 - Place mint leaves in a large pitcher and gently muddle with a wooden spoon to release the mint’s essential oils.
03 - Strain the blueberry syrup through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard solids.
04 - Pour in lemon juice and the remaining cold water. Stir thoroughly to combine.
05 - Add ice cubes to the pitcher. Garnish with extra blueberries and mint leaves as desired.
06 - Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
