01 - 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
02 - 8 large eggs
03 - 2 cups milk (whole or 2%)
04 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 4 cups cubed bread (day-old preferred, white or sourdough)
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
09 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
10 - 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
03 - Add the cubed bread, cooked bacon, and half of the shredded cheese to the bowl. Stir gently to combine.
04 - Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and green onions on top.
05 - Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
06 - Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
